Success Story: Ani House – A Culinary Crossover Journey Through Asia

Daniel has been living his vocation as a restaurateur. With Ani House, he offers a home to lovers of Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine – and since 2023, even directly on the Weser: aboard the Ani House Ship, culinary art becomes an experience.

Culinary diversity in two special locations

Ani House stands for modern Asia-fusion cuisine with heart and soul. Managing director Daniel has been a passionate restaurateur since 1993 and brings his many years of experience into a concept that combines Asian cuisine with a sense of peace, hospitality, and refined ambiance – at two locations.

Centrally located in downtown Bremen, the Ani House Restaurant is already well known beyond the city limits. Since 2023, the Ani House Ship has extended this culinary experience to the water. It brings fans of Asian cuisine to a place where usually only seagulls circle. Daniel puts it in a nutshell: “Not near or on the Weser – but on the Weser itself!”

The extraordinary setting unites finely balanced flavors, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere. No wonder the concept is also well received on a regional level. “The combination of location, cuisine, and atmosphere is what makes the Ani House Ship so special,” says Daniel.

A Culinary Fusion of Asian Tastes

Ani House stands for modern Asian cuisine with Vietnamese roots. Guests experience a culinary stroll through Eastern cuisines, where traditional flavors meet creative reinterpretations. Particularly popular are the vegetarian gyoza, the spicy curries, and the various versions of the traditional pho, which not only warm but also nourish.

The menu offers a wide range of choices for different tastes: lukewarm bún noodles with homemade dressing, Japanese ramen from fish-based to vegan, and the unique Vietnam bao burger. Also available are Asian beers, homemade lemonades, and traditional Vietnamese coffee. Whether on the Ani House Ship with a view of the Weser or at the centrally located restaurant in Bremen’s city center – all dishes are available for takeaway and delivery.

Ani House – a place of peace and connection

“Ani” means peace in the Vietnamese language. This very idea is the heart of Ani House, where sharing healthy, nutritious food is seen as a peaceful and communal experience. With flavorful dishes and great attention to detail, Ani House offers two oases of relaxation where culinary enjoyment, mindfulness, and hospitality go hand in hand – whether on land or water.

The stylish combination of Vietnamese lightness and Japanese clarity brings together popular dishes from Asia that are freshly prepared, delicately balanced, and shaped by modern fusion cuisine. A symbol of this cultural connection is also on board the Ani House Ship: the Japanese lucky cat Maneki-neko with red ears. As a good-luck charm, it stands for hospitality and is a traditional figure in Japan symbolizing prosperity, harmony, and success.

Sustainable enjoyment – even on the go

Daniel made a conscious decision to choose Green Box as a supplier for takeaway packaging. He firmly believes in sustainable packaging solutions and collaborative partnerships on a local level. “The products look high-quality,” adds Daniel.

Both the Ani Restaurant and the Ani House Ship offer meals for takeaway and delivery. These are served in high-quality packaging from Green Box, made from materials like sugarcane and cardboard. The offering includes bowls with matching lids, sturdy folding boxes for tasty curries, and cardboard trays for spicy soups. Daniel is completely satisfied: “The lids hold really well, and the packaging looks high-quality!” Sustainability and enjoyment go hand in hand here – this is the foundation of a successful partnership.
