Sustainable sugarcane plates for food at events

The environmentally friendly, round plates made from bagasse are perfect for serving food at events and festivals. The diameter of the straight inner surface to the edge measures 17 cm. Thus, the plates are optimal for cakes or medium-sized portions at buffets, in food trucks, or in other catering establishments. The classic round design ensures a high-quality appearance and visually impresses your guests. Due to the sturdy material, the sugarcane plate is suitable for both hot and cold dishes.

Sugarcane plates are an excellent choice for many popular dishes such as hearty pasta salads, grilled meats, or other side dishes. They are water-resistant and grease-resistant, while naturally uncoated. This is made possible by the raw material of the leftover sugarcane, known as bagasse. For the production of sugarcane plates, the remaining sugarcane mass is ground and processed into a cellulose mass. This process occurs under high pressure and heat until it is pressed into the desired shape. The sugarcane plates are compostable according to DIN 13432. Your guests can enjoy their meals sustainably on sugarcane plates.
