Sugarcane plates as simple or modern versions
The great thing about sugarcane plates is their versatility. The simple white design is a timeless alternative to conventional paper plates.
Bagasse plates are very strong
You probably know the following problem: when cutting on paper plates the material is often removed despite plastic coating and scraps of paper and plastic stick to the grilled meat. Soon, the paper plate has to be exchanged and it creates additional waste. Bagasse plates are stable, break-proof and very firm, even when cutting with sharp knives. But sushi also looks great on angled, modern sugarcane plates. We provide round sugar cane plates in four different sizes while our angled versions are available in three square sizes and one rectangular size.
A bagasse plate has a low weight
Due to their low weight, bagasse plates are not only easy to transport but also easy to store.
Sugarcane plates are a convenient and sustainable alternative
They are produced out of a by-product that occurs in large amounts. The raw material for our environmentally friendly sugarcane plates is bagasse. Bagasse remains during the squeezing of sugar canes in the sugar production. 100 tons of sugarcanes create about 34 tons of bagasse. It is suitable as a material for packaging as well as for sugarcane disposable plates.
