The grass content of the paper comes with a range of benefits: the low lignin content of grass paper makes for easy mechanical processing. So the inlay paper of the future is produced with minimal mechanical effort and without the use of chemicals. It has medium greaseproof properties (KIT 5). In an oily state, the grass paper retains 20 % of its stability when dry. And it’s biodegradable, of course.
